Seeking publicity/PR/marketing intern to work under the supervision of a professional book publicist to manage the publicity and marketing of books published by an independent Brooklyn publisher. Highly reputed publisher has been in existence for over 20 years, has a backlist of over a hundred titles, and specializes in alternative, radical and political books. Intern will be introduced to the financial, production and marketing aspects of independent book publishing. Position is part-time and unpaid to begin with but there may be a possibility for remuneration or stipend in the future depending on performance and results.
